The CNIM different intervention types
Design
and Construction
CNIM acts as main contractor, providing a turnkey waste-to-energy
plant.
CNIM looks after the general design of the plant, its construction
and commissioning.
CNIM also ensures the detailed design of the plant's key components,
based on its own technology, in particular with regard to :
 combustion
(CNIM-Martin grate, circulating fluidised bed)
energy
recovery (CNIM furnace-boiler units)
waste-to-energy
conversion (CNIM thermal cycles)
flue
gas and residue treatment (LAB processes)
CNIM ensures production of the most sensitive elements of the process
in its own workshops.
Manufacturing of the other components is entrusted to a network
of high quality subcontractors working under the technical supervision
of CNIM.
CNIM not only builds and supplies new plants, but also ensures the
renovation of existing waste-treatment plants, including capacity
extensions and upgrading to new regulatory requirements.
