The waste arrives at the receival area by truck from various collection points. It is dumped into a de-pressurised pit, which prevents odours from spreading.

The waste products are burned at a temperature exceeding 1,000 °C. This incineration furnace is linked to a boiler which recovers the energy produced during the combustion process.

The energy recovered from the waste products is used in the form of heat and/or converted into electricity.

All gaseous or liquid emissions are processed in full compliance with regulations so as to prevent any negative impact on the environment.
