Flue gas treatment

If there is one activity that is implored by public opinion and strongly requested by the regulatory bodies, it is most certainly the treatment and cleaning of toxic flue gas. Through its subsidiary LAB, the CNIM Group has been able to increase activity in this field, which ensures the quality of the thermal waste processing plants it supplies, with the added advantage that these flue gas control systems can also be applied to plants other than its own.

Flue gas treatment is one of the most sensitive and regulated elements in the incineration sector. With LAB, the CNIM Group becomes the European leader and today offers the complete range of processes :

for dust, heavy metals and acid gas: dry, semi-wet or wet type treatment systems, as well as all variants and combinations of these;
for nitrogen oxides, dioxins and furans: catalytic (SCR) and non-catalytic type (SNCR) reduction systems for nitrogen oxides and dioxins, as well as LAB or activated carbon injection systems for dioxin control.

All these processes make it possible not only to meet the requirements of the European Directives of December 2000, but to guarantee for our clients emission levels well below the limits set by these directives.
