Waste-to-energy processing

The boiler type and its technical characteristics depend on the form of energy into which the recovered energy is to be converted.

The energy can be converted into heat which is then feeds a network serving residential or industrial consumers.
An option consists of converting the energy into electric power which is fed to an external grid or partly (approx. 20%) used for the plant's own needs.

In the case of electric power production, the boiler used is of the superheated steam type to optimize efficiency.

In the case of heat production only (without electric power), a boiler of the saturated steam or hot water type is used.
