CNIM also devotes its waste treatment expertise to the field of the operation of waste-to-energy plants. Its involvement in this activity also encourages experience feedback and improvement of the technologies.

As such, the Group has created a specialised skills cluster that is active throughout Europe.

 

It functions as an operator

The Group carries out its operational activities either directly or through dedicated subsidiaries, or through partnerships.

As such, CNIM manages:

  • In France: the centres in Toulon (2 X 12 t/h and 1x 15 t/h), Lannion(1 X 7 t/h), Thiverval (2 X 8 t/h and 1x 14.7 t/h) and Launay Lantic (27,000 t/year) 
  • In the United Kingdom: Southeast London (2 X 29 t/h), Stoke on Trent (2 X 12 t/h),Dudley (2 X 6 t/h) and Wolverhampton (2 X 8 t/h).

As such, with regard to the waste-to-energy plants produced by CNIM in the United Kingdom, the Group provided the financing, it operates the installations through subsidiaries and has undertaken to put the produced electricity to good use.

It will also operate the future waste-to-energy plant in Baku, Azerbaijan, which is currently being built.

 

 

It will be involved as a maintenance services provider

CNIM offers all assistance services to customers in order to ensure the continuity of the steam and/or electricity production, to optimise their installations and, if relevant, to bring their installations into line with any new environmental standards.
